ABOUT THE EVENT /
Western Illinois University is happy to propose the theme "IRHA: The Greatest Leaders."
This theme is based off of the renowned movie The Greatest Showman and will give the conference an overall circus theme.
This theme will allow for students to embrace their own individuality, creativity, and help them to further grow into "The Greatest Leaders".
Creativity
Creativity is using the imagination or new and creative ideas. This is an integral part of being a leader. Whether it is one being creative with their problem solving abilities or using their creativity on decorations or programming; creativity is a very important part of being one of "The Greatest Leaders".
Inclusivity
Inclusivity is including others, not matter who they are or how different from you they may be. As a leader it is extremely important to be inclusive because if you are anything but, you will not be leading in a fair and impartial manner. We chose inclusivity as a value for this conference because it is very important to any environment, and should be something leaders strive to be.
Influence
Influence, a synonym of impact; because that is what we want to do when we lead. It is most every leaders goal to make an impact on their community and the people that they encounter. They want to make positive change and that is what this value is focused on, the overall positive influence that a leader can have on those they interact with.
